新幹線 Shinkansen
大阪、博多～鹿児島であれば、新幹線が便利です。
If you are traveling from Osaka or Hakata to Kagoshima, the Shinkansen is the most convenient option.

東京からも新幹線で来れなくは無いですが4時間弱かかります。
長時間座ることが大丈夫、仕事や本読むから大丈夫だよって人には新幹線が合っています。
もし乗り過ごすようなことがあっても20分間隔ぐらいで次の便があるから安心です。
It is possible to get there from Tokyo by Shinkansen, but it takes just under four hours.The Shinkansen is perfect for people who don’t mind sitting for long periods of time and don’t mind working or reading.Even if you miss your train, there are no worries as the next one leaves every 20 minutes or so.
ちなみにのぞみ号であれば指定席の12号車付近がおススメ。
新幹線ホームから改札の階段が近いことに加え、そこから改札が近いからよく利用します。
By the way, if you’re taking the Nozomi, I recommend the reserved seats near car 12.I often use this because the stairs to the ticket gate are close to the Shinkansen platform, and the ticket gate is also close from there.

また車両は新大阪、博多～鹿児島からの移動であれば「みずほ」、「さくら」の指定席がおススメ。

シートも厚めのクッションで快適です。

飛行機 plane
東京から東北、北海道や沖縄からであれば飛行機になるかと思います。
If you are coming from Tokyo to Tohoku, Hokkaido or Okinawa, you will probably have to fly.
広島空港は広島駅からリムジンバスで約55分かかります。
ただ安心はできません。
広島空港は山間部にあり、冬季は雪が降るエリアにあります。
天候の影響で遅れや欠航の可能性があります。
However, you cannot be completely at ease.
Hiroshima Airport is located in a mountainous area where it snows in winter.
There is a possibility of delays or cancellations due to weather conditions.
またリムジンバスは高速道路を使いますが、山陽道でトンネルが多く一番事故の多い区間を走るため、三連休やお盆、正月などの大型休暇のときには渋滞が発生するなど、余裕のあった行動が必要となります。
Limousine buses also use expressways, but they run through the Sanyo Expressway, which has many tunnels and is the section with the highest accident rates. Therefore, traffic jams can occur during long holidays such as three-day weekends, Obon, and New Year’s, so you will need to plan ahead.
本当に遅れたくない場合は広島空港から最寄りのJR「白市駅」にバスで向かい、
白市駅→広島駅（約50分）という移動手段もあります。
If you really don’t want to be late, you can take a bus from Hiroshima Airport to the nearest JR station, Shiraichi Station, and then travel from Shiraichi Station to Hiroshima Station (approximately 50 minutes).
リスクを先に書きましたが、私も年数回飛行機に乗ることがあります。
おススメは有料にはなりますがラウンジ「YAMANAMI VILLA」が2024年12月に開業しており快適に過ごすことができ、駐機場を一望できます。提携カードであれば無料で利用が可能です。
